About Finest Kind Charter

Captain Tommy Browning has been a charter boat captain in Destin, Florida for over fifty years. He began as a deckhand at the age of ten. When he turned eighteen he got his captain's license. He ran charters as a hired captain until 1968. Tommy had his first "Finest Kind" built in Harkers Island, N.C. and became a boat owner. A second "Finest Kind" was built in 1980 in N.C. The third and final "Finest Kind" was built at G & S Boats in Destin, Florida.
